N(i)² introduces the N(i)²® Discovery Center for Asset, Application Dependency and Network Topology
Montréal (Québec), Canada - April 22, 2009 - N(i)², a provider of IT Infrastructure Inventory Software is pleased to announce the availability of the N(i)² Discovery Center as part of its strategy to provide tools to capture, manage and maintain an accurate, complete, and up-to-date picture of customers' IT environment.
The N(i)² Discovery Center includes the N(i)² Asset Discovery for physical devices, such as servers, network equipment, and installed software. Also available is the N(i)² Application Dependency Discovery for applications and their dependencies with other applications or systems, as well as for virtual environments. The N(i)² Network Topology for physical and logical connectivity is to be made available at a future date.

The N(i)² Discovery Center works as a standalone product to allow the management and visualization of all discovered components for quick, intelligent IT reporting and analytics. In line with the N(i)² Suite management software, the N(i)² Discovery Center is a modular platform from which customers can expand and adapt to their current and evolving needs.
The N(i)² Discovery Center can be purchased as a standalone product, or as part of the N(i)² Inventory Audit- a complete N(i)² package designed for customers who wish to streamline the management of their IT Infrastructure Inventory. This package includes the N(i)² Discovery Center in combination with N(i)²'s flagship product, the N(i)² Multi-Domain Configuration Management System, for efficient automation of audit processes and advanced IT analytics.
The N(i)² Discovery Center will be commercially available by the end of May 2009.
